TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – State oil and gas firm Pertamina Patra Niaga responded to the price of global crude oil which continued to show a downward trend, compared to some time ago when it reached US$100 per barrel.

The falling prices affected the price of non-subsidized fuel in Indonesia. Moreover, the rupiah exchange rate strengthened to a level of Rp14,948 per US dollar this morning.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Irto Ginting, stated that his side was still conducting a review of the sloping movement in global crude oil prices and the strengthening of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar.
